About Luba Angel... Luba was born in Lithuania to a Russian family. She completed nurses’ training in Lithuania, and because of her thirst for knowledge of how our bodies work and how to maintain and improve one’s health, she decided to continue her education. She then entered the field of Massage and Physical Therapy. Her training and credentials include:
Luba is grateful to her massage therapy
instructor, mentor, teacher, Hari Klincaras for helping her develop her ability
to help people. She is convinced that she had one of the greatest teachers in
the field and was very fortunate to have received her training from him. His philosophy was that massage therapy must remind people that the human body was designed to be healthy, not only from the inside, but also from the outside. Luba embodies this in the work she does with her clients. She feels that people must be reminded of the three reasons that keep them healthy:
Her mentor also felt that massage was a passive form
of exercise as it relaxes and recharges you. He also wanted his students to know
that one cannot perform a massage if the comfort level between therapist and
client is not there. His students wanted to know how that comfort level can be
achieved with every client. He responded to them by saying that when the answer
to that question is found, a master of massage therapy is born. Luba went
searching for that answer not to establish a name for herself, but to become
that master. During her many years of practice, she was always searching for
that answer. Because of the feedback her many clients have given her, she feels
not only that she has achieved that comfort level but also that her work had
been met with great success and satisfaction.
Massage procedures are deeply personal. Clients need to be able to
trust their bodies to the therapist as does Luba’s established clientele. Her
clientele realizes that they work with a special therapist with whom they have
formed a unique bond. Through the power of Luba’s special touch, she has been
able to recognize their specific needs and address them one at a time. Luba’s massage treatments are never the same. Her treatments do not have a predefined pattern. Her treatment is designed for a particular client and for the particular circumstances-intuitively from the best of her knowledge and love.
